I used this to some Nikon and Zeiss manual iris in my Canon EOS 5D Mark II manual control on the opening to ask again when the video shooting. They have worked well, no big problems.
I hope the little tab that you use to unlock the map of the lens have been built a little harder, it feels like it might be after 100 + transactions demolition. This is the reason (among others) that I buy a few more units of this adapter, I can attach one to each of my manual Nikon lenses and leave them there.
Total price they are perfectly fine. I can not justify spending $ 150 per unit for the competing brands, not now at least. I hope I will not be wrong in the long term:)

I hesitated, this adapter, since the contributions have been buying some not very enthusiastic. But I wanted to try with my Nikkor 300mm on my Canon DSLR. And try $ 30, why not?
The lens adapter is metal and is placed between the lens and the camera. The objective has’m just in time auto focus and manual, but I usually use this lens to manual focus when he came on my Nikon F100.
I took the photos using this adapter on my Canon DSLR (both the 40D and Rebel XT) rating system. I would not hesitate to recommend the addition of these cards for your camera bag.

It is not for transportation between the lenses. The building is not on its repeated use, the tab is fairly low. Also do not allow wide-angle (28 mm and below) to adapt the lens to Canon body.

agree with the [. . . Review]: attachment or removal are fairly simple, and the slight rotation of lenses mounted play seems harmless. can not imagine why anyone buy one of> $ 200 versions. happy with my PC-Nikkor lens on an old body new Canon. (If you recall, I had to stop down metering with the lens on my F2 as well.) May even try to use this adapter with a ring of two-way coupling for extreme macro. [. . . ].
Update: my proposal to buy directly Fotodiox to e-bay and save $ 5 gets naturally processed by Amazon. What should I expect? Anyway, the Fotodiox “Pro” version of this product (~ $ 75 on e-bay / ~ $ 85 here) seems studier lot (and probably repeated the attachment or removal), not the same (~ 1 mm?) Lens to play body rotation. much closer relationship, but I’m not sure it’s worth extra dollars. Finally, I have not tried more upscale confirmation exhibition “versions (with chip attached) there, but the comments of others express their concern.

It seemed too good to be true. Novoflex wants $ 270 for its adapters. Fotodiox has a “Pro” version ($ 90), which I just ordered, thanks to the return policy of Amazon.com. The problem is the loose fit: near the body, but Canon loose on all my Nikon lenses. It does not disturb other users, but it is simply not acceptable for a specific job on a fixed mount or portable.
