lenspen Review
Mar 26, 2010 Video Show
Finally! I’m back here after almost a month of not making a video. Besides that, in this video, I give you guys a review of the lenspen. It allows you to clean the lens of your dslr, point-and-shoot, Camera phone, and just about almost any type of Camera lens. Look at the video to hear more about it. Thanks for watching. Yup! But I haven’t used it for a while though; all of my pictures are pretty beginnerish

you got an flickr account?

Nice! I use a very similar system to that as yours.

LOL. . . . I NEVER use the LENS PEN “brush” side on glass but sometimes I use it to clean the outer part of the UV filter. I use the brush side to dust off particles on the “body” of my cameras. I always use micro fiber cloths and little bit of 70% rubbing alcohol for my glass.

Cool! Thanks for sharing and letting me know!

ok. . . but the proper method is to use a blower to remove loose particles, then the brush. . . and if needed the graphite-pen

@TheNerfy Ah, but you see here, I had specifically followed the directions from LensPen themselves. Never remebered them stating that you were to use a microfiber cloth.
“Cloths often ignore. . . . ” (from their video)
Either or, I’m sure your system is better, but I was just trying to follow their directions at fist.

you know why it scratches? you’re supposed to use a blower to remove sand and loose particles first, THEN use the brush if needed. What you do when you brush first is drag sand and dust around the lens. . .

Hmm. Interesting view. It’s just really odd that the goat hair brush doesn’t work.

The lenspen is great for me. I won’t go anywhere without it. The goat hair brush isn’t scratching my lens, so i’m not sure whats wrong with yours. And lenspen makes and distributes all of them, the Carson logo on it was only added on later — they have Henry’s lenspens, Nikon lenspens etc. , they’re all just branded.

MAYBE you could try that.
March 26th, 2010 at 08:20
but it also says camcorders, monitors,cd dvd ect
March 26th, 2010 at 09:04
Hmmm. You COULD try that. But I’m not too sure if the “CD spray” will work well with the lens (it could eat the coating off the lens).

i have a good idea go to an electronic store ask for a spray that removes dirt off cd ok and ask for a microfiber
cleaning cloth and just spray then wipe
