Um call your product provider. They’ll help out, there are many different models of digital cameras, no one will know which one you’re talking about unless you say which type. . . provide the model name and number and someone with the same camera can help you.

Like you say, there are all those buttons and each digital cameras buttons are slightly different from others even from the same manufacturers. If you tell us what model the Pentax is, perhaps we can help you see the images.
There should be a button somewhere on the back of the camera that is called . . . a playback button or display button (you will have to look at your manual to see which it is. If for some reason you don’t have the manual anymore, it can be downloaded from Pentax.

Look on the camera and find the model name. Then go to this website and find the Pentax model and download the Owners Manual. Select category “camera”, subcategory “digital point and shoot”.

All the cameras are different, so you will need to read the Owners Manual to find out how to see the pics. It is usually called “Review”.
Good Luck
